Thursday was full of bridge work and activities. The campers started the day with a lesson on the different types of bridges, after which they designed and built their own bridge in a bridge build challenge.
They then went on to pre-build the entire bridge that they would build on the Jouett Middle School cross country trail as the culmination of the camp. Their strong teamwork made the building much more efficient, with multiple campers working on securing each board to the bridge.
After they finished working on the bridge, the campers tackled multiple build challenges, including an egg drop, dome building, and boat building challenge, coming up with creative solutions to every one. They also learned from physics demonstrations along the way.
